It was such a treat to photograph these two adorable sisters and their wonderful parents this past week.  We were even lucky enough to have our session on a beautiful but not crazy hot day … a real treat I tell you.  I always talk about how much I adore what I do and this session was of course again one of those times … with even a little playtime with big sis while little sis had a snack and catnap … hey how many folks can say they got to do puzzles at work today lol!?!?

It is always such a pleasure when I get to photograph families over the years … its always so fun to visit, catch up and of course watch the little ones grow!!  Its been a couple years since I first met this family and it was so wonderful to see them again and see that the little man continues to be a little charmer.  He was so excited to show off his house and bedroom … and this quote was on his bedroom wall.  I just thought it fit this session so perfectly … this little guy is going to go places, no doubt about it !

I had the extreme pleasure of photographing a beautiful Milton family for an Inspiration Through Art Session (formerly Littlest Heroes Project) this past week.  Sweet Miss M and her family made me feel so welcome and at home while we spent the morning together capturing them as a family.  Miss M experiences Global Developmental Disabilities and is non verbal but she never once failed to communicate her love and affection for her family or her joy in her infectious smile. There is something so infectious about the love and joy that this wonderful family demonstrates for each other … You can’t help but smile.   I just feel so blessed to be involved with such an amazing organization and each and every family leaves me feeling so honoured to have been part of their lives for a brief moment.

It was such a pleasure to work with this beautiful family.  I had photographed mom and the little miss 2 years ago … so it was fantastic to see them again and to finally get to meet dad!  I always love getting to see little ones grow over time, so amazing to think she wasn’t even crawling when I last saw her and this weekend we got to chat and laugh together!!  I tell you its one of the amazing perks of my job!  And this little Miss was so excited to have her picture taken, run around and of course have plenty of giggles with mom and dad, as I said a real treat for me.

And when I say hot I am talking about the weather that greeted us the day of this wonderful family’s session!  Yes, we had this session smack in the middle of last weeks heat wave … we were all a tad toasty to say the least.  That considered everyone was a trooper and smiled through the heat.  Thanks guys you were so great!  Just a few peeks …
