Giggles in the park | Toronto Family Photographer

Tuesday, July 13th, 2010

It was such a pleasure to work with this beautiful family.  I had photographed mom and the little miss 2 years ago … so it was fantastic to see them again and to finally get to meet dad!  I always love getting to see little ones grow over time, so amazing to think she wasn’t even crawling when I last saw her and this weekend we got to chat and laugh together!!  I tell you its one of the amazing perks of my job!  And this little Miss was so excited to have her picture taken, run around and of course have plenty of giggles with mom and dad, as I said a real treat for me.

Hot, hot, hot | Milton Children’s Photographer

Tuesday, July 13th, 2010

And when I say hot I am talking about the weather that greeted us the day of this wonderful family’s session!  Yes, we had this session smack in the middle of last weeks heat wave … we were all a tad toasty to say the least.  That considered everyone was a trooper and smiled through the heat.  Thanks guys you were so great!  Just a few peeks …

Littlest Heroes Project| Burlington Family Photographer

Saturday, July 3rd, 2010

I joined a wonderful organization about a month ago by the name of the Littlest Heroes Project, well since then this amazing organization has expanded the ways they give back to the community … with that the name has now changed to Inspiration Through Art to better reflect the services offered.  That being said I still think of the little ones I have the pleasure to work with as “heroes”.  I became a participating photographer because I believe strongly in everyone having their memories captured and preserved for years to come … even when life tosses the unexpected our way.

I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing little J and his amazing parents and pup last week.  Little J had been born 5 weeks premature and had to be resusitated at birth.  They soon discovered that the little man had two heart defects that have resulted in him undergoing two heart surgeries.  His parents have to be some of the most positive, loving and inspiring people I have had the pleasure to meet.  They truly understand the value of time and cherishing each and every moment, focusing on the things that really matter in life.  And Mr J is a spunky little guy and most definitely a fighter – his most recent check ups have him recovering far better than the doctors anticipated … and those eyes, oh my!!  I could go on but I will let him images speak for themselves … a true pleasure for me to photograph ….
